With all the recent shakeups in the world of late night television, here’s my picks for some industry newcomers who would make excellent additions to the post-prime time slot. Click on any photo to scroll through a slideshow of the leading ladies who would rock the late night lineup.
Following their amazing show at the Golden Globes, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are the obvious choice for any kind of hosting gig. Not to overstate it, but Mindy Kaling may be the perfect woman, and the perfect late night host. The TV star can talk about celebrities like nobody’s business and would provide some great fashion, relationship, and pop culture-based monologues. Photo via NPR
